The »ace« High-Precision Spindle

Insert the tool, press a button, and you're done. It's as easy as that to securely clamp tools using ZOLLER's universal »ace« high-precision spindle (all-clamping element) – always delivering consistent precision, accuracy, and reliability down to the last micrometer. The universal tool holder adapter exchange system allows for quick exchanges in under 10 seconds between different holder systems like SK, HSK, PSC, VDI, KM, or hydroexpansion. It's no surprise that these power-operated high-precision spindles have earned the admiration of users worldwide for decades.

System for Setting Tool Length »asza«

A linear adjusting system controlled by CNC for precisely setting tool lengths using a limit pin. It is also available in the »asza-rot« version, allowing optional tool length adjustment through automatic screw rotation (not applicable for shrink-clamping chucks).

MMS Technology

In tools designed for Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL), the coolant transfer piece must be securely attached to the end of the tool shaft with a positive-locking connection. Only in this way can you achieve full functionality and reliability in production with MMS tools. ZOLLER's technology ensures a secure and automatically locking connection to the coolant supply.

A 22 kVA induction coil with a quick-change interface

It is used for shrink-clamping larger holders with diameters ranging from 1.57 to 2 inches (40 to 50 mm) and reinforced shrink-clamping holders with thicker walls. This induction coil can be easily and quickly switched out with the 14 kVA induction coil via a quick exchange interface. The 22 kVA induction coil comes with shielding washers in diameters of 0.63 to 0.79 inches (16 to 20 mm), 0.98 to 1.26 inches (25 to 32 mm), and 1.57 to 2 inches (40 to 50 mm), and these can optionally be divided for use.

Retractable sliding unit

When the »redomatic 600« is not in tool shrinking mode, the »redomatic« sliding unit can be automatically lowered to the parking position through software control. This allows for measuring tool diameters of up to 31.49 inches (800 mm).

Cooling bells with "coolbyLight" visual guidance

The cooling bells provide clear guidance during the cooling process using a color system, switch-over LEDs, and cooling time monitoring:

  • Steady green: Ready for cooling
  • Flashing green: Cooling bell to be used
  • Steady red: Shrink-clamping holder is hot
  • Flashing blue: Shrink-clamping holder has cooled down
