The S22 serves as a versatile production platform designed for efficiently manufacturing medium-sized workpieces. It offers center distances of 800 mm (31.5") and center heights of 175 mm (6.9") / 225 mm (8.8"). This machine is capable of machining workpieces weighing up to 150 kg (330 lbs).
The S22 boasts extensive expansion options, making it adaptable for various grinding applications, making it the ultimate production machine. Its exceptional features include highly dynamic axis drives, top-quality STUDER guideway systems, rapid response times, and optimized traverses. Additionally, the high-speed grinding option (HSG) significantly enhances productivity with a peripheral speed of up to 140 m/s (27,600 sfpm).
