The HELITRONIC RAPTOR grinding machine is a perfect choice for beginners, offering efficient grinding and regrinding of rotationally symmetrical tools in a compact form. It handles tools with diameters from 3 to 320 mm, lengths up to 280 mm (including end face operations), and weights up to 50 kg
Features
Gantry Design
WALTER's gantry design, known for its substantial weight and exceptional rigidity, translates the high dynamics of digital drives into precise grinding while minimizing vibrations.
Ball Screws
This tool grinding machine features three linear axes (X, Y, Z) with ball screws, providing a maximum traverse speed of 15 m/min.
Worm Drives
The machine incorporates A and C rotating axes with worm drives, offering an A-axis speed of 60 rpm.
Belt-Driven Spindle
Equipped with an 11.5 kW belt-driven spindle featuring two spindle ends, capable of accommodating up to six grinding wheels. Each set of grinding wheels is assigned to the relevant spindle along with corresponding wheel measurement data
