Flange-mounted holders
Our flange-mounted holders are meticulously optimized for each machine, eliminating an interface to eliminate an additional source of error. They are impeccably crafted to ensure maximum sturdiness. Whether you need a monoblock holder, grooving module, or grooving blade – we provide the corresponding flange-mounted holder for every application and various machine types.
SA and SE grooving systems
The ARNO SE grooving system complements parting-off, grooving, and copy-turning operations. It delivers absolute rigidity to withstand high shear loads, reducing vibrations even under strong tangential forces. The system handles workpieces with a large radius, offering simplicity and long tool life, especially when paired with ACS1 for efficient coolant delivery beneath the swarf
ATS tool system
Efficient three-edged ATS system for parting-off, profile grooving, and copy turning: High efficiency due to three-edged inserts and quick tool changes. Efficiency is achieved through 3-edged inserts, rapid tool changes, and sturdiness provided by the Torx-Plus screw clamping system, ensuring optimized clamping and insert location.
NC groove turning system
Whether it's radial or axial grooving, internal or external machining, or inward or outward copy turning, the NC system is your solution. With two modular basic holders for internal and external machining, adaptable to various applications with different support blades and clamps, and the addition of a monoblock holder and a boring bar, this system provides versatility.
AMS – ARNO Mini-System
Modular and precise: the ARNO Mini-System AMS for internal machining starts at a diameter of 0.7 mm and reaches drilling depths of up to 50 mm. Rigid centring, guaranteed tip height, and absolute dimensional accuracy – achieved effortlessly with AMS for flexible operations in holes with small diameters.
SIM Internal Machining System
Ideal for internal machining starting at a 6.7 mm bore diameter: the modular ARNO SIM System. Perfect repeatability and rigidity due to the oval-shaped shank and patented ARNO interface: The 3-point right-angled location ensures optimized transfer of cutting forces. At the same time, you benefit from absolute repeatability of insert positioning. Inserts are easy and fast to change as there is only one screw.
SHORT-CUT groove turning system
Monoblock holders and boring bars with short overhang lengths, along with periphery ground or precision-sintered inserts, create a potent combination for radial machining operations. SHORT-CUT tools, with their special chip geometries and cutting edge executions, are ideal for rough machining tasks. The patented clamping system holds the double-sided inserts rigidly in place even under heavy stresses.
CLIP-GROOVE for radial or axial machining
Proven for external and internal grooving, efficient with 3-edged inserts, quick tool changes, and rigidity ensured by screw clamping of the indexable insert, providing optimized clamping and insert location: CLIP-GROOVE is a consistently reliable tool system. The standout features of CLIP-GROOVE are particularly suited for circlip grooves.
Profil-Cut System
Profile inserts present substantial potential for cost savings. We efficiently and precisely grind profile inserts in-house to meet your specific requirements for various profile grooves. Alternatively, we provide semi-finished products for you to grind your own profiles. Additionally, PROFIL-CUT is easy to install, facilitating quick tool changes.
